NAVITEQ is a registered trademark of SB Group Company. NAVITEQ provides services, products and solutions for precise GPS positioning, fleet management and navigation.
 
NAVITEQ develops its own multifunctional network of active GPS reference stations - DGNSS (Differential Global Navigation Satellite System) on the territory of Bulgaria. This is the first network of the kind in Bulgaria, which receives and processes data from the satellites of the American system GPS (Global Positioning System), as well as from the Russian GLONASS (Global Navigation Satellite System). In the future the system can be used for observation of the European system GALILEO (European Satellite Navigation System). Data from these observations create a very precise model of the ionosphere and troposphere (area corrections), which makes it possible for our customers to determine their positions precisely.
 
Basing on the developed GPS reference network, NAVITEQ provides services, products and solutions that allow our customers to achieve precise positioning and save time, means and recourses.
 
Services
NAVITEQ provides services for precise position determination in real time or as a result of post processing of the positioning data.

• NAVITEQ Post Processing is a reference service designed for professionals aiming at achieving measurement precision of up to 1 cm.   

• NAVITEQ Virtual Station provides an additional convenience and facilitates the measurements with the Post Processing service. By using the Virtual Station, the customers achieve accuracy of up to 1 cm at places covered by the reference network of NAVITEQ but remote from the reference stations.

• NAVITEQ Precise RTK is designed for surveying in real time and provides the customers with differential corrections for achieving accuracy of up to 2cm.

All the map data for the territory of Bulgaria included in these software solutions are developed and owned by NAVITEQ.

NAVITEQ maps

NAVITEQ owns detailed map data for the territory of Bulgaria. The map data is being constantly updated by the means and resources of Naviteq. Naviteq provides at least three updates per year of the data.

The NAVITEQ map data is included in the NAVITEQ family of software as well as separately provided to customers.
